![]() ![]() Now the remote is recognized as an "eHome Infrared Receiver", but is reported to not be working correctly: "Device failed to start (Code 10)". ![]() So I did that, and then manually installed the drivers for the remote He suggested pulling the ir drivers from the 2003 installation CD. I did some searching on this forum, and found someone with similar problems. At this point, pressing remote control buttons cause the red light to flash on the receiver, but to no effect ![]() When I first plug the remote receiever in, it recognizes it as a "Microsoft IR Transceiver", and pretty much goes no further. Works perfectly (other than the remote problem) My system is a home-brewed HTPC, with MCE 2003 + SP1 + MCE 2004 Update + all Windows updates. ![]() I just received my MCE remote today, but haven't been able to get it working Media Center > Remote installation problems (code 10) ![]()
